From Dakar to Democracy: A History of Idasa

This publication commemorates 20 years of the Institute for Democracy in South Africa (Idasa). As the organisation celebrates its 20th anniversary, Idasa also celebrates 20 years of democracy-building in South Africa by reflecting on the changes the organisation and the nation has gone through to build and sustain democracy. The book details Idasa’s metamorphosis through the years in relations to the political history of South Africa.
